Bed Bugs

A Quick Guide to Bed Bugs

Bed bugs cause itchy bites and can be hard to eliminate, leading to stress and disrupted sleep.

Signs of a Bed Bug Infestation

One of the first signs of a bed bug problem is waking up with small, red, itchy bites, often arranged in a line or cluster. Other indicators include:

  • Dark spots (bed bug excrement) on sheets, mattresses, or walls

  • Shed skins or tiny eggshells near their hiding places

  • Musty odors from the bugs’ scent glands

If you notice any of these signs, it’s crucial to act quickly to prevent the infestation from growing.

What to do When You Find Infestation

  1. Take out all your clothes in the closet and dresser

  2. Wash all clothes or put them in trash bags

  3. Remove all sheets from matresses

  4. Clean floor

  5. Call MSA
